Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We propose a method for detecting the duplicated regions in a digital image. Conventional methods treat only a simple case of translation duplication. Therefore we treat a complex duplication accompanied with rotation and/or reversal. By using rotation invariant image features, the proposed method estimates rotation angle and judges whether reversal exists. We transform an input image by estimated rotation angle and/or reversal. In an extended image combining the input and transformed images, pixels with similar feature are searched to determine duplicated location. Experimental results shows the effectiveness of the method.
