Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the daily life, many people usually sit down rather than we stand. They may complain their sickness that occurred by poor blood circulation when people sit. In addition, most of the female have problem with the swelling on their legs. A massage or a footbath is the effective way to improve the leg swelling, but only a few people prefer to do them since it spends much time and money. Now we hope to improve the leg swelling when they are just sitting. This study verifies about improving the leg swelling by a heat stimulus which makes better blood circulation. Recently, it is easy to make a heat stimulus with the development of heating machines. In this experiment, a subject sits down on a chair after the legs are raised horizontally with a floor. At this time, we check the change of blood volume in veins with changing a temperature under four conditions such as heat or cool. Consequently, it is possible to decrease and to restrain the leg stasis that is one of the causes of the swelling as a heat keeps to stimulate the legs.
