Light-induced self-written (LISW) optical waveguide attracts the expectation of the application to the single-mode optical fiber connection, as the technology which can connect high-efficient without doing the alignment. In our previous work, we reported the formation of the single-mode optical waveguide with over 3cm, furthermore branching waveguide. In this report we success the formation of the curve structure by LISW after the graded ultraviolet irradiation. The post-curve waveguide was confirmed the single-mode propagation at 1.3μm. |
