| (in English) | Head Mounted Display (HMD) is one of the typical devices of wearable machines. It is necessary to develop input device for HMD because there is no easy-to-use input device. In this paper, we developed the eye input device to control a mouse cursor of a computer by using the information of eye movement. In this system, the information of eye movement was obtained with the positional change of the pupil center measured by image processing. The experiment was performed to evaluate the usability of the eye input device. In this experiment, subjects clicked the buttons (80×80 pixels) displayed on the HMD (640×480 pixels). From the experimental result, click time was 5 to 10 seconds. In addition, the click time decreased within 5 seconds by setting suitable parameters for mouse cursor control. |
