a Noise Reduction Algorithm for Dual-Energy X-ray CT under Low-Dose Enviolonments

(in English) Dual-energy computed tomography(DECT) provides specific information on the object.
However, DECT has drawback that its reconstructed images contain large noise in comparison with that of conventional CTs.
Although Kalender et al. proposed a method to reduce noise in DECT, they presented examples taken from high-dose (tens of times of conventional cases) environment.
In this paper, we point out that Kalender's method failed in noise reduction under low-dose environments using numerical experiments. Further, we propose a new method to overcome this problem.
