An orthosis which assists paraplegic gait without a wheelchair has been studied. In this study, we developed a measurement system with load devices, and measured human sit-to-stand movements supported by arms. We hypothesized that stabilization of the movements leads decrease of the physical load, and validated from measurement experiments of standing up movement for various initial condition. And using foot bottom COP to compare with the physical load of the lower limbs, a result supporting the hypothesis was acquired. Finally, by training the sit-to-stand movement showing COP after the movements, it was suggested that given information of stability based on load sensor such as COP, the efficiency of training improved. |
