Fretting corrosion happens with the miniaturization of the automotive connector, and it cause trouble.
In this study, We investigated effect of contact oil which restrain fretting corrosion, and effect of distance of fretting. As a result, when we use contact oil, peak of contact resistance was three orders of magnitude less, and the peak of fretting cycles increased by three orders. Life-time of contact is longer, the distance of fretting is shorter. |
