This paper reports activities for Summer School on Embedded System Technologies 4 (SSEST4) held on September in 2008. SSEST4 is an educational activity in embedded system technology. There are two characteristics of SSEST4. First, an executive committee of SSEST4 consists of students and young workers gathering from nationwide. Second, the committee perform independently from running to drawing up the learning curriculum. We set down students as main targets since they have little chance to experience a series of processes to develop an embedded system. Therefore, our purpose is to provide them with such an experience. We introduce the activities in the committee for ten months. Then we discuss educational effects on this activity and achievements of the purpose from examined the result of the learning curriculum and questionnaires. |
