We propose a method to approximate the surface of the vocal-tract using implicit function from data points obtained from the MRI.
The vocal-tract shape is expressed with the surface piling with the suitable patching object for the normal direction of the surface points.
In meshfree patching, patch objects are arranged for subdivided local domains on the vocal tract surface using the octree-based method and clustering method.
Moreover, the debugging environment on 3D graphics is costructed for evaluation of approximation quality.
Our algorithm is constracted as a high speed algorithm, and proposed as a visualization algorithm of 3D vocal tract shapes.
It is shown that the algorithm is available to express the complex figure of the vocal tract, and can be realize on the ordinal PC. |
