Due to recent diversity in network technologies and applications,
a requirement for supporting comminucations in challenged network
environments is arising.
Suppose packets are delivered from a base station to individual receivers
over a lossy wide-area wireless network.
As a packet recovery for individual wireless users using redundant packets,
the present paper focuses on the forward erasure correction
for real-time applications under a limited-feedback envirement.
We propose a redundant packet composition scheme for effective forward erasure correction considering delay constraints and fairness among receivers by exploiting broadcast property of the wireless links,
and investigate the effectiveness of proposed scheme by simulation. |
