| (in English) | We aim a system that enables visually-impaired people to use touch panels without visual information. This system navigates the user's finger to the target key without contacting a touch panel with auditory feedback. In this paper, we present two navigation modes: direction and distance mode, and absolute position mode. In direction and distance presenting mode, either verbal or nonverbal sound is adopted as output sound. To present the direction, we provide one-dimensional mode and two-dimensional mode. We conducted experiments for comparing navigation methods by eight sighted subjectives wearing eye masks. As a result, verbal sound is suitable for navigation than nonverbal mode. And effectiveness of presenting absolute position of the key, and difference of deflection between subjectives are described. | |
