Investigation Of Wave Source By Using Wave Function

(in English) This report presents a new method to estimate position of wave source by using electric field on the H-plane and the E-plane. All sampling points are located on each semicircle. Applying boundary condition to all of them, 2N × 2N sized matrix which includes unknown coefficients is given. In order to verify the validity of this method, we experimented with the half wavelength dipole antennas as wave sources and estimated the position of wave sources. As a result of it, they can estimate position of wave sources accurately.
