Recently the mobile terminal, like the mobile phone, has the capability of the high speed wireless communications, and it is expected the terminal can do them in the weak electrical field area. For this problem, we recommended to use the external antenna and proposed the wideband wearable antenna, which is usable for the specified low power radio and receiving digital TV broadcasting as the trial of the external antenna of the next mobile terminal. This antenna is made of conductive fabric and has the advantage of mobility and wearable performance. But its feed part is too complex because it is impossible to solder between the fabric elements and the coaxial cable.
This time, we have tried to simplify the feed part by using the snap buttons for dressmaking. The new feed construction is clarified, analyzed and optimized its feed position. And the improved performances are confirmed by measurements. Therefore we report it is available as the wearable antenna. |
