The spectrum sharing technique by the control of minimum contention window size considering channel occupancy rate information

(in English) This report proposes a minimum contention window selection method for a spectrum sharing for the existing wireless local area network (primary
user) and cognitive radio network (secondary user). Both systems behave based on CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision
Avoidance) protocol and secondary user achieves a spectrum sharing by using the control of the minimum contention window size . The purpose of
the spectrum sharing technique is the maximization of the secondary system throughput while keeping a constraint which protects the primary
system throughput based on the channel occupancy rate information of secondary user and primary user. By computer simulations, the proposed
minimum contention window size control algorithm can protect the constraint and the performance of the secondary system is shown.
