We have developed an automated detection method for architectural distortion that is difficult to diagnose breast cancer. In our previous method, it was difficult to detect an architectural distortion with very thin mammary glands. We suggest the improved method using multi-resolution images in extracting the mammary gland in order to achieve higher sensitivity. As a result, the detection performance of our new method showed better than that of the previous method. |
