[Poster Presentation] Improving Tag Tracking Accuracy by Coded Tagging MRI

(in English) Tagging MRI, which exploits spatial distribution of magnetization, is used for the the myocardial motion analysis. Image processing is generally used to track the magnetization pattern of the tagging MRI, however, the contrast of the magnetization pattern decreases with time. To cope with this problem, averaging of multiple acquired images are often used. In this paper, we propose to use spectrum spread code pattern for the multiple image acquisition. By identifying the code pattern of each pixel, we can localize the original position of the pixel. By using the code pattern which is robust to the noise, we can get better pixel localizing results when compared to the simple image averaging.
