| (in English) | Online learning classifiers need to detect and respond quickly to concept changes in the case where the target concept changes suddenly and significantly. We previously proposed a model in which the degree of confidence in a single online classifier is used for detecting concept changes. However, the model is not able to adjust the detection sensitivity automatically while learning sequentially. In this study, we investigated a working hypothesis that humans can adjust the detection sensitivity automatically with their experience, by conducting a human behavior experiment. Results suggested the validity of the working hypothesis, and we proposed a new model that is able to adjust the detection sensitivity automatically. Computer experimental results show that our new proposed model detected changes quickly and accurately in both clean and noisy environments. |
