In clinical situations, a mean CT value in liver parenchyma region is significant information to diagnose hepatic disease on X-ray CT images. However, to measure mean CT value by manual of a large number of cases, it becomes large burden to radiologists. So it is necessary to develop an automatic measurement method. In this study, we proposed an automated measurement method of mean CT value of hepatic parenchyma on non-contrast X-ray CT images based on probabilistic atlas in each hepatic lobe, and evaluate its effectiveness. |
