| (in English) | Millimeter-wave research and developments are now state necessity for expansion of radio spectrum resource. Recent widespread wireless-systems bring us great changes in life style, and also an urgent situation of radio spectrum management in frequency region below several GHz of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. It seems difficult to stop a trend to wireless developing in wide regions. Millimeter-wave device research and technologies for practical use are the social demand. It is present that recent device research in millimeter- and submillimeter-wave regions, and some prospective technologies for practical applications. | |
