| (in English) | This paper proposes the miniaturized antenna for the cellular phone with 1-Seg system. Firstly we examined the matching circuit of the chip antenna to change the frequency. When the resonant frequency of the chip antenna will be changed by the matching circuit, the variable-capacitance diode requires a big capacity change ratio. In addition, the loss of the matching circuit deteriorates of the antenna performance. Therefore, we proposed the chip antenna integrated with a frequency tuning circuit which constituted on the radiation electrode of the chip antenna. We tried to clarify the effects of the chip antenna with the frequency changeability function. The antenna resonant frequency can be changed from 470 to 770 MHz, when the DC voltage of 0-6 V was applied from the outside. Recently the need for lower the voltage used for cellular phone intensifies. We tried the new design approach exciting two resonances within the 1-seg band. In addition, we briefly report our frequency changeable circuit for all-in-one design chip antenna. When an applied voltage for tuning is 0-2.8V, each resonance of the antenna covers 470-650MHz and 600-770MHz. | |
