Distributed web service is attractive topic for all of service providers. With that, they can offer high-quality services at a low cost with components distributed. Components are replicated and attached to many network nodes for load-balancing, and those can be used as the substitute when others fail. We have already established two methods for detecting substitute, the one is deciding substitute and the other is constructing overlay network for information exchange. In this paper, first we explain about two existing methods and point out the problem. Then we propose a new method for reconstructing overlay network, dedicated to fairness in detection, and confirm that users can get a better substitute with new method. |
