A Method for Excluding Packet Falsification Nodes in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks

(in English) This paper proposes a new routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks to establish a secure route that excludes malicious nodes. If the data packet is falsified when the communication is encrypted, the destination node cannot decrypt the packet, and becomes the same situation as the packet loss. Because the third party nodes exist in the route on a mobile ad hoc network, the packet falsification becomes a problem. In the proposed protocol, the node that exists in the route sends Request Messages (for route construction) received after some delay time. The route that doesn't contain malicious nodes comes to be chosen by this delay. We quantitatively evaluated the effectiveness of the proposed protocol by the network simulation. As a result, we confirmed that we can use an ad hoc network securely even if the falsification nodes exist.
