In this report the synthesis of needle-like fullerene cohesion with CNT or C60 is discussed. The growth conditions of Single Walled Nanotube (SWNT) were studied as a first step to develop the chirality control. Dip-coated CoMo catalysts were effective to obtain SWNT with good reproducibility by alcohol catalytic chemical vapor deposition (ACCVD) with C2H5OH. It was found that much growth of SWNT was achieved on allover substrates which were post annealed after aceton-ethyl alcohol washing. Needle-like C60 cohesion was tried to prepare by evaporation from supersaturated solution and/or liquid-liquid interfacial precipitation(LLIP). As a solvent toluene or m-xylene was used. In the case of toluene LLIP the needle-like C60 cohesion with length of about 10mm grew on allover substrates. |
