A real-time engine estimating speech feature vector for development of speech application systems

(in English) We have proposed a real-time engine to estimate a speech feature vector that had a hierarchy structure with three groups of vector components from the phonetic/acoustical features such as formant frequencies to the phonemic features/distances. The effectiveness of those vector components have been investigated in developing our speech application systems; a single resonant type of hearing aid, a speech visualization system and a word recognition system. The developed engine can be embedded in a real-time speech application systems built on a Windows based personal computer. In this paper, we describe a processing method to estimate the speech feature vector and address the real-time software engine for estimating those vectors.
