Planar three-element Yagi-Uda antenna is proposed as an ITS in-vehicle antenna in UHF band. One of the new attempts is to employ a distributed constant line instead of changing the length of elements for obtaining the high gain. Other new attempt is narrowing the element interval to 0.025 wavelengths with considering the required frequency band is narrow of 10 MHz. It is possible to set it up in a car because it becomes 3 cm or less in width. Because deterioration in the characteristic is a little even if there is a metal on the rear side, it is also possible to set it up on the body of a car. It is shown to be able to obtain the working gain of 4.7 dBi or more without the impedance adjustment circuit and 6.7 dBi or more when an infinite conductor is adjacent behind. |
