| (in English) | In multi-hop wireless networks, the source and destination nodes usually have some candidate paths between them, and the path quality depends on the selection of a multi-hop path from these candidates. Therefore, it is important to choose a path with high quality. To evaluate the quality of the network, it is also important to clarify the relation between network topology, path selection, and communication quality. To do this, in \cite{submit}, we used expected transmission count (ETX) as a metric of path quality, characterized the best path, which maximizes the communication quality, and proposed a theoretical method to compute the route ETX in a one-dimensional random network. In this paper, we use medium time metric (MTM) as a metric of path quality and characterize the best path in a one-dimensional random network. We characterize the path that minimizes route MTM by comparing MTMs of routes selected based on two different policies with minimum route MTM. | |
