Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in a broadcast database system where the server periodically broadcasts contents of a database to mobile clients. There are three types of query processing methods in the broadcast database system, whose energy consumptions are different with each other. In this paper, we introduce our proposed method which dynamically chooses a query processing method from these three methods considering energy consumption, and also show the simulation result for performance evaluation.
