A study on relationship between node-degree and the number of necessary MRC

(in English) An IP-FRR(IP Fast Reroute) which is IP recovery Schemes are proposed, and there is MRC(Multiple Routing Configurations) method in the one. This method generated backup route information (MRC) beforehand that makes a detour from failure node and the failure link on the network topology, then gives each router the MRC. Each router's switching to MRC corresponding to the each failure when the single node failure or the single link failure occurs, and re-routing according to it. As a result, prompt failure recovery is achieved. The number of MRC is possible the setting by arbitrarily. It is thought that a set number of MRC corresponding to failure recovery of all nodes and links on network topology (the number of necessary MRC as follows) depends on the net topology characteristic. However, the relation is not clear. Therefore, we paid attention to the node-degree of the network topology, and characteristics of the number of necessary MRC according to the change in the node-degree were clarified.
