This paper proposed a half bridge resonant converter that can be the output voltage control at a fixed frequency by the secondary phase control and reported on its operation characteristic and experiment result. The proposed circuit has a series connection two switches and secondary side rectifier diode of a past half bridge resonant converter. It controlled the output voltage by delaying the secondary phase against the primary phase and achieved the ZVS operation in the primary switch and the ZCS operation in the secondary switch. In the experiment, a planar core whose thickness is 11.8mm was used for the transformer, we obtained 91.1% efficiency at the switching frequency 500kHz, input voltage DC140V and 24V/30W output power condition. |
