| (in English) | The integrated services in the home network system (HNS)provides value and convinience for home users, by integratingfeatures of multiple home appliances. Even if individualintegrated service is implemented correctly, using multipleservices together can yield unexpected and undesirable behaviorsdue to functional conflicts among services. The conflict isgenerally known as the service interaction problem. In our previous research, we proposed a static method of detectingall potential interactions off-line using given service scenarios.However, the number of all potential interactions is exponential for the number of services, which have made it difficult to manage all interactions. In this paper, we address the run-time detection and resolution ofservice interactions, which detect and solve the interactions on-line. We have implemented an interaction detection and resolutionsystem, by introducing appliance method run-time monitoringand priority for each appliance method.We have conducted experiments with several practicalservices, and confirmed that all anticipated conflicts were detected and solved. |
