In order to investigate the chemistry process of ozone layer depletion, JEM/SMILES is missions which observe globally stratospheric Ozone and Ozone depleting trace gases, such as chlorine monoxide and bromine monoxide, and is the high sensitivity submillimeter radiometer which realized 4K class refrigerator and the superconductivity sensor in combination.
JEM/SMILES is performing the system proto-flight test now aiming at the launch of the summer in 2009. |
