Three Dimensional Underground Imaging -- Lateral Detecting Ability owing to Directivity of Sound Source --

(in English) A three-dimensional method for imaging objects buried underground is studied. An electromagnetic-induction sound source and 12 receivers, forming a cross-shaped array with its center at the sound source, are employed for measuring the impulsive sound wave reflected from the underground objects. The 12 reflection signals are calculated by the special three-dimensional amplitude correlation synthesis processing method. This paper studies the proper waveform model for numerical simulation of imaging multi-objects, and discusses the lateral detecting ability of the method owing to the directivity of sound source by introducing the proper waveform.
