Multi-wavelength optical source for OCDM using sinusoidally modulated laser diode

(in English) This paper reports the cost-effective novel multi-wavelength optical source for OCDM. This source emits precisely-wavelength spacing controlled and well-flattened light with simple configuration by using a directly sinusoidally modulated laser diode technique. The direction of flattened multi-wavelength light generation as the conventional sinusoidal amplitude-phase hybrid modulated optical source is derived by using a small signal approximation. In an experiment, 9 wavelength lights with less 3 dB deviation were confirmed to be generated. Its support of OCDM was demonstrated.
