(in English) There are some applied studies on acoustic streaming induced by SAW devices.
There are some applied studies on acoustic streaming induced by SAW devices.
Since the driving force of the streaming is intrinsically supplied by sound field, it is of necessity to observe and interpret the field for predicting the velocity field of the streaming theoretically.
Unfortunately, there are lucks of knowledge about the field generated by SAW devices in water.
In this study, we have prototyped a new type of SAW device and have confirmed that the ultrasound beams determined by the Rayleigh angle are symmetry with respect to the vertical plane of the IDT substrate.
Additionally, we have found that the beam field depends greatly on the number of IDT pairs.
