A theoretical study on measurement accuracy of the REV method for phased array measurement system designs
Toru Takahashi, Masataka Ohtsuka, Takeshi Sakura, Yoshihiko Konishi (Mitsubishi Electric Copr.) AP2008-12
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this report, measurement error due to thermal noise was theoretically investigated for phased array measurement system employing the REV method. According to the theoretical study, measurement accuracy in the REV method is determined by the S/N ratio of each antenna element. Numerical simulation validated the theory. The theory will give the design goal of the phased array measurement system.
