Simplified Prediction Scheme of Propagation Loss over Non Line-of-Sight Intersections in V2V Communications

(in English) In this paper, a simplified prediction scheme of averaged propagation loss over non line-of-sight intersections in V2V communications is proposed. The ray-tracing technique is an effective scheme to predict propagation various characteristics, whereas a large amount of calculations is required to obtain precise estimation results. In this paper, we propose a simplified prediction scheme of propagation loss over non line-of-sight intersections by accounting only the dominant paths observed in the ray-tracing analysis. The accuracy of the proposed method is evaluated by comparing the predicted results with those predicted by the ray-tracing method. As the result of the evaluation, we show the proposed formula effectively estimates the propagation loss close to that by the ray-tracing.
