Given a set of images, where a point light source moves around an object, we can formulate recovery of the reflectance property, texture and shape of the object, as well as the positions of the light source. We herein describe an efficient algorithm to address this large-scale nonlinear optimization problem. Various objects, including toy models and human faces, are successfully recovered without any special devices nor a precise calibration. |
