A design of low pass filter with attenuation poles using parallel connected commensurate transmission line low pass sections

(in English) A commensurate transmission line low-pass filter with attenuation poles that consists of parallel connection in a transmission line and basic lowpass sections is presented. The basic lowpass section is consist of transmission lines and an open stub. The feature of this filter is to obtain attenuation poles by the parallel connections in a transmission line and basic lowpass sections without using transmission zero sections. And, dissipation by the filter elements doesn't increase because the paths between input port and output port are short. Moreover, the characteristic function is represented by using Richard's variable, and design of wideband filter is enabled. A synthesis method of this filter that specifies the transmission and the attenuation zeros is described. The design example using microstrip lines and the filter property by the electromagnetic field simulation are shown, and the efficiency of the present method are verified.
