In the neuroendoscope operation navigation, due to the effect of metal or electronic equipments around, the magnetic field of an electromagnetic sensor will be distorted and the accuracy will become poor. In this research, the error of a magnetic sensor is corrected by using a hybrid tool which is combined a magnetic sensor with an optical sensor. In this paper, a self-made measure tools is used to collect the reference data. Also, we propose a method of representation of errors in posture and its correction method as well to reduce posture errors. We conducted the experiment to show how efficiently the proposed method works for distortion correction. |
