Direction of Arrivals Estimation of Coherent Signal Waves Using Interpolated ESPRIT in Thinning Array Antenna

(in English) It is difficult to estimate DOA(Direction-of-Arrival) of coherent signal waves by SSP(Spatial Smoothing Preprocessing) and ESPRIT with a non-uniform linear array antenna which is not able to be devided to sub-array satisfied shift invariance. For this problem, it has been proposed that SSP and Interpolated ESPRIT which converts real array data to virtual array data by an interpolation matrix and the virtual array data corresponds to one of sub-array data satisfied the shift invariance. However, SSP and Interpolated ESPRIT using virtual array have two problems. First, it is necessary to estimate a rough DOA in advance to product a virtual array. Second, an estimate accuracy of DOA drop so that SSP by virtual sub-array colors AWGN. In this study, we consider thinning array antanna. For the first problem, we have proposed zero-interpolated estimation and showed that enough rough DOA estimate accuracy can be achieved. For the second problem, we have proposed NR(Noise-Removal) and showed that RMSE performance can be improved.
