NICT has started its second middle plan for five years from April 2006. One of the most important strategic target is to establish the high-performance network system and its key technologies. which realizes fixed-and-wireless converged network architecture, is backed by optical technologies Where The ideal of the architecture of the excuse line unity is stated in the, and it is aiming at the establishment of the frequency, space-time standard technology related to the high-performance network system backed in the optical technology, and a constituent technology and the network with NICT. The network architecture which moved the new generation reached after 2015 years to the target, and photonic network technology are introduced in this paper. |
