Real-time monitoring method is able to observe nonperiodical waveform. This method is indispensable for future network monitoring and its higher sampling clock will be demanded. We report commercial available semiconductor real-time oscilloscope with the focus on input band width and sampling clock. TeKtronix, Agilent and LeCroy are leading companies to supply the oscilloscope. Catalog specifications of band-width and sampling clock are 16 GHz and 50 GS/s for TeKtronix, 12 GHz and 40 GS/s for Agilent and 18 GHz and 60GS/s for LeCroy, respectively. However, it is difficult to make a sweeping judgment about which oscilloscope is the best, because they improve the band width and sampling clock by using hardware and software interleaves. On the other hand, superconductive single flux quantum (SFQ) circuit has a chance to increase the band width and sampling clock without interleave, since it can implement high-speed and high-reliable AD converter by using its high-speed and periodic nature. We proposed a new SFQ AD converter circuit and confirmed its high-sampling clocks of over 150 GS/s by computer simulations. |
