Three-Dimensional Space Tracking Performance of α-βFilters Derived from Non-process-noise Tracking Method
Ming Jun Zhang, Yoshio Kosuge (Nagasaki Univ.) SANE2007-107
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) When the steady state error for a constant acceleration target is constant, and the process noise matrix is zero matrix,we can construct a new linear filter called NP(Non-process-noise)tracking method. We have reported the tracking performance of the α-βfilters derived from NP tracking method in the one-dimensional space. But,it has been not reported that the tracking performance in the three-dimensional space. In this paper,we will compare the tracking performance of the α-β filters that derived from NP tracking method,Kalman filter tracking method and fading memory filter tracking method with the constant speed straight target, the constant acceleration straight target and U-turn target in the three-dimensional space .
