This paper deals with a full-bridge DC-DC converter utilizing parallel resonance and current doubler for a contact-less power transfer system. The number of turns of windings and capacitance of resonant capacitor were changed, and then various characteristics were evaluated. The inductances of transformer core were calculated by the finite element analysis, which was conventionally obtained from experiment. The efficiency is improved by reducing the capacitance of resonant capacitor with adjustment of the number of turns of windings. However, in order to stabilize the output voltage against the change of load, the capacitance of resonant capacitor should be increased. |
