Multi-Band Differential Amplifiers with Stacked Resonators

(in English) A quad-band differential SiGe HBT amplifier with an equalized gain has been developed by using stacked LCR tank circuits. The amplifier realizes a simultaneous multiple-band matching by cascading LCR tank circuits in a stacked form. In addition, a gain equaling is achieved by adjusting the value of resistors. The experimental results demonstrate an equalized gain of 7.3, 7.7, 8.3, and 8.5 dB at 0.54, 0.7, 1.08, and 1.39 GHz, respectively. The input and output return losses are better than 9 dB. The difference of gain has been improved by approximately 2 dB by equalizing gain.
