Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes an approach to image segmentation using Graph Cuts based on local texturefeatures of wavelet coefficient. Using Multiresolution Analysis based on Haar Wavelet, low-frequency range (scaling image)is used for n-link and high-frequency range (local texture features) is used for t-link with color histogram.Iterated Graph Cuts, the propose method can segment the region of object for images with a lot of edge, with colors similarto foreground and background, and with heavy texture change. Experimental results showed our method (Err:1.57%) reduced segmentation error rates by approximately 35.1% compared to previous methods (Err:2.42%).
