Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Small cavitation sensors were developed with hydrothermally synthesized PZT on the outer surface of the Ti cylinder in this study. Output signal from the fabricated cavitation sensor was analyzed in frequency domain with changing applied voltage to the Langevin type transducer of our ultrasound exposure system. Frequency components from 1 MHz to 5 MHz included in the output signal from the cavitation sensor were measured as the cavitation signal in order to distinguish from the harmonic components by nonlinear propagation in water and those by acoustic cavitation. Broadband integrated voltage can be calculated by integrating harmonic components from 1 MHz to 5 MHz included in the output signal from the cavitation sensor.
