| (in English) | The pedestrian fatalities that occupy many ratios in traffic fatalities are serious problem. The prevention of accident system mast detects situations of the pedestrian. In this study, we examined the extraction of the pedestrian and the dangerous detection that became necessary for this system. The pedestrian extraction is important that corresponding to moonlight because a lot of traffic accidents occur in the night. However, pedestrian extraction is difficult to the headlight of the car and the shade generates illumination change by night. Therefore, in the proposed technique, we use the texture information. We use walker’s movement speed and direction for detects dangerous situations on the pedestrian crossing. As the results of experiment, we succeeded in pedestrian extraction by moonlight and detecting dangerous situations of pedestrian. | |
