| (in English) | We are developing the web based class support system using the student's laptop PCs. To support interactive communications between the teacher and the students in the classroom, we propose the system that communicates via the server between the teacher’s laptop PC and the student’s laptop PC. This system realizes the channel of communication in the background by using Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript + XML). So, it doesn’t have needs to install any applications and is easy to use. We developed the prototype system that provides following features: continuous presence validation, real-time questionnaire, unknown word sharing, forced delivery of the specified web page, etc. In this paper, we describe the prototype system for class support using laptop PC, and evaluated whether new communications channel in the class by laptop PC and the network is practical and useful. | |
