We proposed a method for detecting cerebral aneurysms by voting of curvature information. However, the method had a problem that false-positive candidates were detected in curvature or bifurcation areas of vessel. In this paper, we describe that measurement of cerebral vascular diameter is useful in reducing false-positive. This revised method was applied to twenty-eight cases with twelve aneurysms and sixteen non-aneurysm cases. All of twelve aneurysms were correctly detected with 0.57 false-positives per case. |
